People often do not think of visiting Guatemala. They may not know enough about it to want to go there. There are national parks in Guatemala. The most popular is the Tikal National Park, which has towering pyramids and much more. There are also wild monkeys, plenty of flora, and even some tarantulas for you to find.

The People

Many of the people who live in Guatemala are Mayan. They live by their old traditions and this means that you can find a large variety of arts and crafts that are created by their hardworking hands. They are also very friendly, and even the fact that there are more than 20 different languages being spoken in this area, there doesn’t seem to be a real lack of communication at all.

Lake Atitlan

This lake is surrounded by volcanos, villages, and vistas. It is often said to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It is here that you can explore nature at is best by hiking or going scuba diving, and then at the end of the day, visit clubs, go shopping, and more.
